Fourth pot for reigning champions Italy.
With Croatia’s 1-0 victory against Armenia, Italy found itself at risk of having an iron group given that it will find itself in the fourth pot with Switzerland, Serbia and the three teams that will come from the play-offs in March.
In the third pot are Croatia, which came third at the last World Cup in Qatar and Virgil Van Dijk’s Holland.
In the second pot there is Hungary, which qualifies for the third time in a row, Denmark which is always a tough challenge, and Vincenzo Montella’s Turkey.
We are only waiting for December 2nd where the draw for the 2024 European Championship will be held in Hamburg.
