Europa League results, table. 21.09.2023

The first round of the Europa League is over.
Without too many surprises and the new edition of the Europa League began, Liverpool came from behind to beat Lask in Austria 3-1. Last edition’s finalists, Jose Mourinho’s Roma won in Moldova against Sheriff Tiraspol 2-1 thanks to an own goal and a goal from Romelu Lukaku.
Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen easily defeated Hacken 4-0 in Germany.
The most spectacular matches were in group B where Ajax drew 3-3 against Marseille in Holland. A debut with defeat in Europe for De Zerbi’s Brighton who were beaten 2-3 at home against AEK.
