Qualifiers Euro 2024

The qualifiers for the 2024 European Championships have concluded with Croatia becoming the 21st national team to qualify.
Thus ended the qualification of the national teams in the group stage which provided several surprises where we saw Erling Haaland’s Norway finish outside of Europe, Spain qualifying and Scotland in first and second place. Another surprising result was also seen in group E where Lewandowski’s Poland could not go beyond third place, behind Albania the small country which made an excellent qualification by winning first place and the Czech Republic.
The reigning champions Italy made it to the last gasp with a 0-0 draw with Ukraine thanks also to the intervention of the VAR which was fundamental in the final minutes where there was contact between Cristante and Mudryk inside the air.
Even if Poland and Ukraine did not qualify for the groups, they still have one last chance to go to the 2024 European Championship which will take place in Germany. They can still do it thanks to the play-offs that will be played in March. Poland is in League A with Wales, Iceland and Estonia, and Ukraine is in League B with Israel, Finland and Bosnia. In League C, however, there is Georgia, the jewel of Napoli Kvaratskhelia, who has the possibility of going to Euro 2024, Greece, Kazakhstan and Luxembourg who did very well in these qualifiers, finishing third behind Portugal and Slovenia with whom they played the qualification until the end.
Now on Saturday 2 December we are anxiously awaiting the draw for the European Championship groups.
